Ben + Vita were married at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, one of Whistler’s most iconic mountain wedding venues.

Mid October in Whistler can go either way. Snow. Rain. Grey skies.

Instead, they were gifted clear blue skies and warm autumn light for the entire weekend.

And this wasn’t just a wedding day. It was a multi-day celebration that unfolded intentionally, each event building on the last, following B + V’s love story as we’d find out later.

A Full Wedding Weekend in Whistler:

The celebrations began with a private welcome mixer at a local Irish pub in Whistler Village. The next evening, an elevated black-tie rehearsal dinner brought everyone together again, heartfelt speeches, thoughtful details, and the kind of atmosphere that only happens when guests feel fully present.

The weekend ended the way it should: with a full karaoke party.

If you listened carefully to their vows, the structure of the weekend made perfect sense. Their relationship is layered, playful, deeply rooted in family, and centred around shared experience. The timeline reflected that.

Getting Ready at Fairmont Chateau Whistler:

Vita got ready in the Gold Penthouse Suite at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, a space that never disappoints. Natural light poured in through the windows, with ski lifts and mountains visible in nearly every direction.

Close friends and family surrounded them. The energy was calm, but excited.

A Mountain Ceremony Under Blue Skies:

Guests gathered outdoors with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. In true Whistler fashion, wildlife even made an appearance, bears roaming in the distance as everyone found their seats.

The sun held strong throughout the ceremony.

A close friend officiated, telling their story with humour and depth. Their vows spoke not just about each other, but about their son, who is clearly at the centre of their world. It grounded the ceremony in something bigger than just the two of them.

A Reception That Didn’t Hold Back:

Once the reception began, the tone shifted, in the best way.

Food, wine, and constant laughter filled the room. When the live band, Ten Souljers, took over, the dance floor erupted. It was one of the hardest-dancing groups we’ve ever filmed.

And when you think the night might taper off, it didn’t.

The celebration moved downstairs for karaoke, because that’s who they are. Unfiltered. All in. No half-measures.
