Hey! We’re Grey House Visual, the husband and wife wedding videographer duo based in Vancouver BC! (Aka Graeme + Tricia)

We really believe that people not only want to, but deserve to be seen. That is our goal with every film that we create.

We don’t throw that out lightly either, as unserious as we can be sometimes, we believe this to our core. We don’t approach any shoot, or any edit with a preconceived idea of what we hope to gain from it. Our goal is to not be in anyone’s way, not to hide in the shadows, but to match the energy and let everyone be themselves and true to the moments that they’re experiencing without us interrupting.

A huge source of inspiration that we find ourselves coming back to more often than expected, is our home base.

Based in Vancouver BC, there’s no shortage of beautiful scenery, outdoor settings, forests, rivers, trees, ocean, mountains, and the list goes on. Amidst all of that is the beautiful city of Vancouver itself, which boasts some of best wedding venues that you can find!

But as much as we love the landscapes, our main inspiration is people and their individuality.

We’ve been filming weddings since 2014, and while we’d love to say that we’ve seen it all, we’re constantly surprised at every wedding we capture.

We always use the analogy that when you’re at home watching your favourite show, eating popcorn, cuddling on the couch with a blanket, you don’t need direction to do that, you just do it. Of course its different when you have cameras around.

It’s our job to make it feel like it doesn’t.

We understand that most people aren’t used to having cameras pointed at them all day, so we approach everything relaxed, natural and grounded in what’s actually happening.

At the end of the day, its individuality that inspires us the most.
